We went pretty late (8.10pm) and staff were still really welcoming. And the food was still very tasty (thank you chef sarann) had a cheeky pudding too 😋 was absolutely lovely.

I had a great time when I came for food today, meat was nicely cut, good portions, all the veg was fresh and all the servers were nice and polite, my carver sharon was amazing

I use a lot of carvery pubs and the food experienced this Sunday lunch has been the worst experience ever !! Lamb and beef very fatty and tough , peas and parsnips hard and tasteless!! Worst gravy ever , so tasteless and like warm. Really disappointed as I’ve eaten at this establishment before and it was good but I’m afraid I will not be rushing back 😡

Average on food and service ordered wine and had to prompt and remind waitress to bring the bottle. BUT to get a £100 parking fine through the post 9 days later was a right kick in the teeth. We visit Toby Inns many times and you usually cannot miss the car park booking screen and are always advised as to it's requirements before ordering food. First (and last) visit to this restaurant and got nothing so forgot to register car as we never saw the screen to remind us. We didn't see any notices externally but I'm sure they are present so no joy for us there. Goodbye Toby Inns.

£100 parking fine spoilt my visit no one tells you to input your car reg. And its not on website. I will avoid Toby now plenty of places to go without fear of parking fines. Used to visit alot with friends and family so feel Toby have already lost out on custom because they enforce fines. Just another money making racket. Stear clear!

Went in weekday morning in January, and there was plenty of parking space. It is great to dine in the traditional and classical style of interior, which makes me feel eased and comfortable.
